The five editions

One run, cut five ways: the full report, the owner’s read, a plan for your team without the price, a quarterly board page, and the appendix for anyone checking the inputs.

One run, five cuts

Every edition is cut from the same run, so the numbers in each agree to the dollar. They differ only in what they leave out, and why.

What it carries. Every part and the appendix.

Who it’s for. For you, and for anyone checking the work line by line.

A dot means the edition carries it. The team edition never carries the price. On a phone, swipe the table sideways.

Why the team edition has no price

People do better work when they know why it matters, so the plan traces every action to the measure it moves. But a number on a cover changes how a team behaves. Your best people should read “lose fewer customers each year” as a goal, not as a sign the business is for sale.

The board edition, every quarter

The board edition is the one an advisor or a partner reads each quarter. It shows the run-to-run bridge, which splits the change in value into what the business did and what moved around it, the plan’s status, and the calendar of every regulatory filing that protects the value.
