Targets against actuals
Each key result in the last plan is checked against where it should be by now. Green, amber or red, with the rule that decides it.
Did the plan land?
Every key result in the last plan had a target and a date. A year later the re-run checks each one against where it should be by now, and marks it green, amber or red. In the sample, one of five is on or ahead of its path.

How to read it. Each bar runs from last year’s figure on the left to the target on the right. The fill is how far the business has come; the dark tick is where a straight-line path says it should be by now.
How a status is set
The expected position is a straight line from last year’s figure to the target. Green means at least 90% of the expected progress. Amber means between half and 90%. Red means under half, or moving the wrong way.

The quarterly board page
The same check runs every quarter on one page: the value and what moved it, the key results, the team measures behind them, the regulatory gates and the next quarter’s work.
- Corrective action. Red for two consecutive periods on any committee measure triggers a corrective-action review
- Gates. Gates are checked against the public records each quarter, not against the calendar
- Probabilities. The plan’s odds of success are replaced by actuals as they land
